Alleged threatening letter, Imran Khan’s name to be included in the ECL will be heard in IHC today

ISLAMABAD, April 10: The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has investigated the alleged US letter plotting to overthrow the government of former Prime Minister Imran Khan. Imran Khan’s name to be added to ECL. Chief Justice of the Islamabad High Court (IHC) Athar Minallah will hear the petition filed by Maulvi Iqbal Haider in Islamabad. Former Federal Minister Fawad Chaudhry, former Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi and former Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly Qasim Suri conspired to overthrow his government, the petition said. A threatening letter was written from the Pakistani ambassador which Imran Khan mentioned in the March 27 meeting. On April 3, the Deputy Speaker dismissed the motion of no-confidence on the same grounds. The names of Imran Khan, Fawad Chaudhry, Shah Mehmood Qureshi, former Ambassador of Pakistan to the United States and Qasim Suri have been requested to be included in the ECL. Orders should also be issued to send the complaint to the trial court.-TLTP
