President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov today, April 20, in Baku, at a meeting with representatives of a large Azerbaijani business community, invited them to invest in Kyrgyzstan, the press service of the head of state reported.
The head of state noted that Kyrgyzstan is highly interested in cooperation with the Azerbaijani business community.
Sadyr Zhaparov invited Azerbaijani entrepreneurs to participate in the implementation of investment projects in such areas as energy, food industry, projects in the field of infrastructure, tourism and new technologies.
In the field of hydropower, he offered to take part in the construction project of the Kambarata HPP-1 and a number of other strategically important small and medium-sized hydroelectric power plants.
In the field of tourism, the head of state proposed to consider the construction of recreational facilities in Kyrgyzstan, including on the territory of the pearl of Kyrgyzstan – Issyk-Kul Lake.
Sadyr Zhaparov noted that the food processing industry is also a very promising and interesting area. In general, the potential for possible cooperation is high and the areas of interaction are very diverse.
“As the Head of State, who advocates the dynamic, stable and sustainable development of his country, I call on the Azerbaijani business community to consider the Kyrgyz Republic as a reliable business partner and invite them to active cooperation and joint implementation of large investment projects,” he said.
Sadyr Zhaparov expressed confidence that the results of the negotiations, as well as the implementation of the reached agreements, would soon be reflected in the indicators of mutual trade and the volume of Azerbaijani investments in the economy of Kyrgyzstan.
