NHT REPORT
RAWALPINDI, May 23: A meeting of retired officers from BS 17 to 22 was held in continuation of previous meeting of 11/5/2022 at a local hotel in Rawalpindi .
The participants demanded the present Government which is considering an increase in the saleries of government employees in the next financial year’s budget by 50%. with medical allowance. The speakers stated that last time the previous government enhanced the salaries of government employes by 45% but pensioners were out rightly ignored. But the sitting Prime Minister was kind enough to increase pension by 10%, for which they were thankful to him but as compared to price hike in the country it is very low. Hence Pensioners have to face multiple problems to meet their needs.
Thereby the pensioners have no option but to made a request for 50% increase in pension & Medical Allowance.
