Confers Nishan-e-Imtiaz on Turkish Air Force Commander

ISLAMABAD, March 25: President Mamnoon Hussain has said that the cancer of terrorism would be completed eliminated from Pakistan soon.
While addressing at the awards ceremony for the participants of Pakistan Day Parade, President Mamnoon said that the Pakistan would soon overcome the menace of terrorism.
The president appreciated the sacrifices rendered by the security forces in the war on terror. He said Operation Zarb-e-Azb has been successful in eliminating network of terrorists to a great extent.
Mamnoon commended the troops for successfully organising the Pakistan Day parade. He further said that no effort will be spared to meet all requirements of the armed forces to ensure internal and external security of the country.
The President said that the JF 17 Thunder jets and Burraq drone spoke the volume of country’s self-reliance in defence.
He said that the spectacular show gave a clear message to the enemy that the country’s armed forces are fully capable to defeat their sordid designs.
Earlier, the President gave away shields to participants of the parade.
President Mamnoon Hussain also conferred Nishan-i-Imtiaz (Military) on Commander of Turkish Air Force General Abidin Unal in recognition of his illustrious services for promotion of bilateral relations between air forces of the two countries.
The Award was conferred on the visiting guests by President Mamnoon Hussain at a special investiture ceremony held in Islamabad on Friday.
It was attended, among others, by Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Marshall Suhail Aman and senior officials.-Agencies
