ISLAMABAD, June 1: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman has finalized the list of the party candidates for the bye-elections in the South Punjab region. This was stated by the PTI’s Senator Aon Abbas Buppi while talking to a private television channel Wednesday. Senator Buppi told the channel that the list of names for the by-elections of the Provincial Assembly of Punjab has been finalized and new faces are being introduced to serve the nation better. He informed that the PTI South Punjab chapter has started preparations for the by-elections and has received applications for 8 vacant seats in the provincial assembly. Senator Buppi said as many as 40 candidates from South Punjab have filed nomination papers for the provincial by-elections and the party will announce the names of candidates in the next three days. Senator Buppi also disclosed that four deviant MNAs of the PTI from South Punjab tendered their apology to the party Chairman Imran Khan which was not accepted.- NNI
