Federal Minister for industries and production has been awarded with a souvenir by the PM

ISLAMABAD, June 17: Federal Minister for industries and production has been awarded with a souvenir by the Prime Minister in recognition of his efforts to resume import of palm oil from Indonesia.
MakhdoodMurtaza Mahmud along with Secretary of the Ministry, ImdadullahBosal called on the Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif here on Friday after completing his successful visit to Jakarta.
The prime minister appreciated the efforts of the Minister and awarded him with a souvenir for his role in resumption of the edible oil and visit to Indonesia at his own expense. It is note worthy that the Minister visited Indonesia with a delegation from 12- 14 June 2022 in order to ensure the steady flow of the commodity in the Pakistani market.
The Minister during the visit held meetings with the Indonesian Minister of Trade Muhammad Lutfi, Minister of Industry AgusGumiwangKartasasmita and Coordinating Minister of Maritime and Investment Affairs LuhutBinsarPanjaitan for the purpose. Following the efforts of the minister, 10 ships loaded with 2.5 million metric tons of edible oil are being supplied to Pakistan from Indonesia.-PR
