AIOU delegation to visit Saudia Arabia in July

ISLAMABAD, June 22: A delegation of Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) led by the Vice Chancellor, AIOU, Prof. Dr. Zia Ul-Qayyum, will visit Saudi Arabia in the first week of July. Delegation will explore and examine the possibilities of collaboration with Saudi online education system to upgrade AIOU’s online education facilities as per the instructions of the Federal Ministry of Education and Vocational Training.
It is pertinent to mention here that Federal Minister for Education, RanaTanveerHussain said that during covid, the online education system has become very popular all over the world. He said that Saudi Arabia has established a state of the art online system for education with 20 TV channels. He added that Prof. Dr. Zia Ul-Qayyum is a very dynamic Vice Chancellor. Federal ministry for education has asked him to visit Saudi Arabia to examine their education system to improve the facilities here at Allama Iqbal Open University.-PR
