A meeting was held at the Uzcharmsanoat Association with a representative of Kazan Synthetic Rubber Plant OJSC. The main topic of discussion is the establishment of cooperation relations, the search for new areas of interaction.
Kazan Synthetic Rubber Plant is one of the leading enterprises of the petrochemical industry in Russia. The plant produces unique high-quality products that are used in various industries in the CIS countries and far abroad. Currently, the company produces over 160 items of goods.
KZSK continues to look for new opportunities to expand its business. And one of the priority areas, according to the company’s management, today is Uzbekistan, which is located in the very heart of Central Asia, has convenient geography and wide logistical capabilities. The Russian chemical manufacturer plans to soon open a joint venture in the city of Chirchik, specializing in the production of chemicals in demand for the shoe industry, such as polyurethanes and rubber compounds.
With the rapid growth of footwear production, annual capacity is planned to reach 205 million pairs by the end of the reporting period, the industry needs large volumes of components and raw materials. It is worth adding that at the moment, polyurethane and rubber compounds are mainly imported from abroad. The opening of a new plant will allow localization of these products and significantly reduce the cost of footwear.
