ISLAMABAD, June 28: A condolence reference for the late father of Vice Chancellor, Allama Iqbal Open University, Prof. Dr. Zia Ul-Qayyum was held yesterday at the Jamia Masjid of AIOU. Deans, principal officers, representatives of academic, officers and staff associations, faculty members and staff attended and prayed for the deceased.
The Father of Prof. Dr. Zia-Ul-Qayyum passed away on Sunday, June 26. Funeral prayers were offered at the Shadman Mosque in Lahore. Apart from the employees of the university, relatives and friends, a large number of people associated with the education and social sector were present. The deceased was buried in Mayani Sahib Cemetery.-PR
