“My principle is to ensure that every Kyrgyz citizen has a decent life in his native land,” Kyrgyz President Sadyr Zhaparov said at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers on Thursday.
“I have said many times that Kyrgyz people must live in prosperity. We emphasize such state priorities. To this end, we increase salaries, pensions and benefits. We find and spend tens of billions of additional funds for them this year,” he said.
The president emphasized that as part of the work in this direction in 2022, social benefits and salaries of employees of the social sphere will be increased twice. “Further, from Aug. 1, we will increase the salaries of all state and municipal employees. This will require about KGS 10 billion,” Zhaparov pointed out. The Kyrgyz leader added that the average income per capita should be higher. According to the National Statistics Committee, in 2021, it will increase by 18.2% compared to 2020. – Kabar
