PESHAWAR, April 25: A delegation of Sikh Community led by Roshan Singh, cousin of slain Sardar Soran Singh, from district Buner called on IG Police Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Nasir Khan Durrani and expressed satisfaction over performance of the Buner District Police for arresting the killers of Sardar Soorn Singh in three hours after the assassination.
The delegation comprised Inder Parkash, Amar Nath, Satwaut Singh and Deepak Kumar. Jamaat-e-Islami District Naib Amir Muhammad Hanif and PML (N) Tehsil President Jehan Akbar also accompanied the delegation.
The members of Sikh Community expressed satisfaction over the performance of Buner police saying that they not only busted the real gang involved in the assassination of Sardar Soran Singh but also arrested all of them within three hours.
They said that the Buner police exhibited professional acumen and reached to the killers due to scientific and professional approach and thus the local people took sigh of relief. The members of delegation also announced to hold a function in recognition of the outstanding performance of the Buner police very soon for their encouragement.
Speaking on the occasion the IGP Nasir Khan Durrani said that with the active cooperation of the general public police can achieve its target and ensure peace and tranquility in the society. -NNI
