ISLAMABAD, May 13: Pakistan People’s Party leader Aitzaz Ahsan has said that the prime minister was expected to take the parliament into confidence over the Panama leaks issue but his close aides advised him to refrain from going to parliament and if he did so he would get trapped.
While talking to reports here on Friday, he said that the opposition will devise a strategy for National Assembly session on Monday.
The PPP leader said the prime minister has not turned up in the parliament for months. He said the government is now afraid of the situation arising out of the Panama Papers issue. -Agencies
