161175_41620792KARACHI< May 13: Attending a press conference on Friday, Opposition leader Khurshid Shah said that rather than rejecting the letter Supreme Court (SC) has responded government over Panama Leaks and has supported our stance regarding Terms of Refrences (TORs) while laws should be legislated in assembly before formation of commission, sources reported.
The opposition leader said that Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and opposition have already stated that Panama Leaks issue has not been surfaced by any media house or any political party. He said that opposition has demanded Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif to explain the matter in assembly and that opposition has been trying its best not to derail democracy.
He assured PM that opposition will not create hustle or chant slogans against him. He added that it depends on PM if he would like to answer questions or not and that National Assembly session be broadcasted live.
He demanded that government should write another letter to SC before Monday and SC should be informed that government would approve TORs after consultation with opposition. Shah also added that Chief Justice (CJ) has also been informed of opposition’s stance.
He concluded that PM has an opportunity to normalise situation,
things might go worse otherwise. PM’s children have accepted that they own offshore companies, opposition just want to know about the source of money and tax paid.-Agencies
