ISLAMABAD, July 21: Opposition leader in National Assembly (NA) Khurshid Shah has said that the PTI has not taken opposition parties into confidence on launching an anti government movement.
He said that protest and the sit-in launched by Imran Khan in 2014 met failure for not taking political parties on board.
“The PPP and other parties have not been taken into confidence by the PTI leadership in launching the anti government movement. The solo flight can benefit the government and weaken the opposition alliance,” he said while talking to media men here on Thursday.
While taking about extension of policing powers to Rangers in Sindh, he said that powers should be delegated to Rangers but the paramilitary force should also abide by law. “No such impression should arise that there is a state within a state,” he said. I will not give credit to any other institution than the police for maintaining the law and order situation in Sindh, he said. -Online
