
PESHAWAR, July 21: Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Pervez Khattak has called upon the PTI workers to rise to the occasion and spread the message of PTI which stood for a change. The workers would have to spread the message, that it was voted for a change and how much change his government brought about. He drew a comparison between what his government delivered against the unfavourable environment it inherited and what previous governments left behind, a legacy of loot and plunder and inefficient system of governance in the province.
He was a addressing a 50 member delegation of District Buner at CM House Peshawar here Thursday. Provincial Ministers Shahram Khan Tarakai, Mian Jamsheduddin Kakakhel and others were present on the occasion.
The Chief Minister registering his remarks termed the concept of change as the guarantor for the national development. He called upon the elected representatives and workers to be united for the vision of PTI that was to change the system for efficient delivery.
The Chief Minister said that when he took power in the province there was deterioration in the education.
The Chief Minister also threw lights on the achievements in health sector. In the first three years, the hospitals in the province had a shortage of doctors and even the doctors had gone abroad and there was 2000 vacant posts of doctors. The Chief Minister said that health, education, patwar system, Police and other social sectors were the priority areas of his government and his government introduced reforms to correct the entire system. He called upon the elected representatives to supplement the government efforts and put on ground the reforms agenda, his government brought about. He said his government was taking steps for the better future of the nation so that the process of prosperity and development should continue.-PR
