What all surfaced on national canvas, after a highly undesired speech of an ex-Pakistani national stationed in UK, is shocking but not surprising. Altaf Hussain’s political views have never been in favor of a common popular nationalistic Pakistani narrative. Those who keep a close eye on political developments and ever had a chance to interact with Altaf Hussain in mid 80s are well conversant to his extremely controversial and hateful political thoughts. As a political party MQM often chanted slogans for well being of Pakistan and threw customary challenges to feudals all across the country but in fact this strategy was used to mask the real intent of party leader. Though MQM has remained part of electoral process but in all its practical functioning this party always followed non-democratic norms whereby decision making revolves around strict aristocracy of Altaf Hussain. Election process was openly influenced on gun point by denying the breathing space to competing political parties. MQM commenced the political journey by exaggerating the miseries and sorrows of Urdu speaking community and challenged the strong religio-political parties JI and JUP in KARACHI and HYDERABAD. Violent clashes with Pushtoons during mid 80s pushed urban Sindh into a worst era of unrest. Killings, curfews, riots and lawlessness destroyed the socio-economic infrastructure beyond the limits of imagination. Violent clashes led to frequent bloodshed which provided impetus to Altaf Hussain’s hateful ideology. In 1988, MQM swept elections in Urban Sindh. Despite being part of various federal and provincial governments, MQM always ignited sentiments of Urdu speaking community by playing ‘Muhajir Card’. In early 90s, Altaf Hussain shifted to UK where he sought asylum later on. MQM survived 1992 operation and recaptured space in Urban Sindh with more deadly violent approach. Though, party was renamed as MUTAHIDA QAUMI MOVEMENT, to radiate positive nationalistic wave but on ground her vote bank remained restricted to Urdu speaking community. Altaf Hussain controlled party affairs by maintaining absolute influence through Thunder squads who took direct orders from him. Undoubtedly Altaf Hussain kept urban sindh under siege for almost three decades. His connection with Indian RAW and multiple dubious global players are not difficult to understand. Many insiders have disclosed shocking truths. His anti Pakistan designs and actions are very clear. Unfortunately, state of Pakistan is not coming up to the situation in a desired manner. It remained bewildered, compromised and ignorant for decades. Historians will raise serious questions upon the intents of military and political rulers who did not fulfill the obligations for petty political interests. Despite having many reservations upon ongoing Karachi operation, one can not deny the fact that eventually Karachi is now out of the chains of London based anti Pakistan Mafia. Altaf and his London based Mafia has declared their evil designs. Timings of this campaign and demands of sick minded Altaf Hussain logically confirm the linkage with India. It is an effort to release pressure of occupied Kashmir from Modi’s neck whose hands are soaked with Kashmiris’ blood. It is a follow up action of Modi’s speech about Balochistan and GB. Altaf Hussain has sufficiently proved himself a traitor with loud statements. Questions are being raised about MQM for being led now by Farooq Sattar. These questions are bitter, genuine and logical. Time will explore the truth on this account. It is a big test for MQM and her leader Farooq Sattar. Surprisingly, Farooq Sattar and fellow companions are vigorously beating the drum of ‘Muhajir’ rights. This bitter tone and venomous approach has brought urban sindh to this disaster. Worst part of the case is that in sindh both PPP and MQM act as ethnic parties. Sindh can not afford this any more. Pakistan can not afford too. Let us clean up this mess. It is about time to act as a responsible state. Letter is being written to UK govt. Will it serve the purpose? Why not a case in Pak courts? What for we are waiting? No more stunts and statements. It is now time to act as state against the traitors. Pakistan can not afford the repetition of past like bewilderment and compromises.
