SUKKUR, August 28: Opposition Leader in the National Assembly Syed Khurshid Ahmed Shah said on Sunday he did not want the newly elected Karachi mayor to run the city from behind the bars. Khursheed Shah said Waseem Akhtar, MQM leader and the new Karachi mayor, should obtain bail from the government as it did not look good for the mayor to be running the city from prison. On MQM’s disassociation from Altaf Hussain, the opposition leader said any association or disassociation cannot remain hidden. Khurshid Shah said that contact of Dr Farooq Sattar with Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Chief Altaf Hussain would be exposed in 10 days.
