- Indian troops kill two more protesters in IOK taking the death toll in the ongoing Kashmir Intifada to 95
SRINAGAR, September 10: In occupied Kashmir, the illegally detained General Secretary of All Parties Hurriyet Conference (APHC), Shabbir Ahmad Shah, has said that the Kashmiri people will not give up struggle for their right to self-determination even if India deploys its entire army in the territory.
Shabbir Ahmed Shah was reacting to the reports that India was deploying more soldiers to suppress the ongoing protests in South Kashmir.
The APHC General Secretary in a statement in Srinagar said that the move invalidated the claims of Indian leaders and their puppets in occupied Kashmir that only five percent people were supporting the ongoing mass uprising in the territory. He also termed the New Delhi’s rhetoric of Kashmir being its integral part as a joke.He hailed the pro-freedom spirit and resolve of the Kashmiri people. “The people of Jammu and Kashmir cannot be cowed down by any measures of oppression and suppression and they will continue to pursue their goal of freedom. The forces must bear in mind that people will hold them answerable for the crimes committed against them,” he said and appealed to the people to continue the freedom movement.-KMS
