Like a person, a country or a nation too can develop cancer. The word ‘cancer’ makes me shudder instinctively and instantly. It is a disease in which body’s cells go mad and spread. It is called malignancy.
Medical research says that malignancy can be tackled at an early stage. There can be cobalt therapy. There are other options too. But when the malignancy grows unchecked, there is no avoidance death.
The Panamagate and the case of a planned News-Plant have pushed Pakistan to the precipice of Cancer.
Who will take up the responsibility of ordering surgery? Normally it should have been the country’s Chief Executive. But most unfortunately our Prime Minister happens to be the cause behind the Country’s rapid slide towards the precipice of cancer. Precisely why the country has come to this dangerous point where the nation is desperately looking into the void— in the hope that the surgeon will appear….
