- Says government is not seeking energy from Iran despite agreement
KARACHI, November 28: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf senior vice chairman Shah Mehmood Qureshi has said that those involved in killing in Karachi are looking for shelter, while there are piles of garbage in the city and people are deprived of water, power and protection of peace, whereas he admitted that PTI could not fulfill expectations of people of Karachi.
Addressing an emergency press conference in Karachi Press Club, PTI Senior Vice Chairman Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that it doesn’t matter whatever decision comes out from Supreme Court regarding Panama Leaks, but Nawaz Sharif has lost his case in the court of people. The land is fertile for PTI in Sindh, just there is a need to stand firm.
Criticising over government policy, Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that Pakistan is not showing up anywhere on the matter of Kashmir issue, adding that despite economic deficit of over 100 billion dollars, Pakistan could not strengthen relations with Afghanistan, while government is not seeking energy from Iran despite agreement finalized with Iranian government.
Talking over situation of Karachi, Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that if peace in Karachi restored completely in Karachi, then DSP would not have been killed yesterday. Qureshi admitted that PTI could not fulfill requirements of people of Karachi.-Sabah
