parvez-elahiLAHORE, December 18: Pakistan Muslim League (PML) senior central leader and former Deputy Prime Minister Ch Parvez Elahi has said that for alliance the opposition parties will have to make their inside out one and forego ego and give preference to collective and national interests over personal and party interests.
Talking to party leaders and workers at his residence here Sunday, he said that progress and prosperity do not come with show off projects but with mega projects of well-being and welfare of the people
and provision of employment like our tenure.
He said undoubtedly all opposition leaders are aware of dangers and challenging confronting the nation and the country but to stop these dangers and challenges from increasing they will have to come on one page and platform and all parties will have to go together instead of singing own song and announcing protest separately, will have to block way of those who are isolating country internationally, establishing kingdom in the name of democracy, establishing own monopoly on every institution and sacrificing national interests for personal interests otherwise patriotic people and history will not forgive them.
He said for welfare and prosperity of the particularly the poor, workers and farmers and establishing supremacy of democracy, constitution and law, all parties will have to end their mutual differences.
Ch Parvez Elahi said looking at the history of Pakistan, it becomes very clear that always way of opposition alliance was adopted for getting rid of the self-centered rulers and end result was success. He said we are emphasizing on alliance between all opposition parties from day one but the government is drawing full benefit from chaos among them.-NNI
