Trump is warming up

Donald Trump has been building his team after he took over as 45th president of the united states. There are certain things in his character which are quite clear. He fancies Jews. He nurses hatred against the Muslims. He wants to give a wide berth to the immigrants whom he despises. He doesn’t believe in one main land China and has been propping up Taiwan as a counterweight to Beijing.
Ronald Reagan was the architect of dissolution of the Soviet Union. China is a sore in the eyes of Trump. He would like to see China disintegrating in the same manner in which the Soviet empire crumbled but what he forgets is that China isn’t what soviet Union was and Trump is not a patch on Reagan when it comes to political acumen, farsightedness and popularity.
Trump would isolate his country if he tried to translate into reality what he has been propagating hitherto.
POSTSCRIPT: Pakistani cricket team has been going through a very lean patch, lately. Its recent tour of the Down Under has been a disaster. Our boys didn’t fare well either in the test or in the smaller version of the game. There should, however, be no room for disappointment. The fact of the matter that too much playing on the flat wickets of the Emirates has cost us a great deal. Opportunities need to be created for enabling our boys to play more and more in countries like South Africa, England, Sri Lanka and even in Bangla Desh so that they have a good experience of playing on turning wickets and do not cut a sorry figure which they did in their recent tour of the Down Under.
