ISLAMABAD, March 13: Chinese army troops and Turkish military band will participate in the Pakistan Day military parade for the first time in Islamabad on March 23.
This was confirmed by Director General Inter-Services Public Relations (DG ISPR) Major General Asif Ghafoor in a message posted on Twitter on Monday.
The joint military parade will be held at the Parade Ground in Islamabad. Personnel from all three services, Pakistan Army, Navy and Air Force would participate.
Pakistan Day commemorates the passing of Lahore Resolution in 1940, demanding a separate homeland for the Muslims of the subcontinent.
It should be mentioned here that earlier the ISPR released a special promo for the celebrations of the 70th Pakistan Day.
“No force on earth can undo Pakistan” is the main theme of the promo with core slogan “Pakistan Zindabad.” -DNA
