
ABBASPUR, March 13: : At least 9 people sustained severe wounds so far while one old woman was died due to fear as Indian troops unprovoked firing and shelling in Abbaspur Sector on Monday.
As per details Indian forces hurled mortar shell on Monday morning at the house of Abdul Aziz resident of Polas Pothi area of Abbaspur, in aftermath of the attack four members of same family sustained severe injuries.
Islamabad deplores Indian firing on civilians along LoC
ISLAMABAD, March 13: Pakistan has deplored the deliberate targetting of civilians by Indian forces along the Line of Control.
In a tweet, Foreign Office Spokesperson Nafees Zakria said two civilian were injured as a result of unprovoked firing by India along the Line of Control in Chirikot sector on Sunday. -NNI
While one Mortar Shell thrown by the Indian Army at the old women Ofcer jan as a result she was died at the spot due to fear.
All the injured people were brought to the Ruler Health Centre Abbaspur where they were given first aid and later on referred to CMH Rawalakot.
Indian army targeted populated areas of Kakota, Dhara, Batol and Chari Kot at 6am in the morning and injured two people.
According to Inter Service Public Relation (ISPR), Pak Army gave befitting response, silencing the Indian guns.
Earlier on Sunday, at least two people were injured in Indian forces’ firing in villages of Polas and Taroti in Abbaspur Sector.
It is not the first time that Indian forces have targeted civilian settlements along Line of Control (LoC) and working boundary.
Tensions in Kashmir, the long-disputed Himalayan region, reached dangerous levels in September last year after 19 Indian soldiers were killed in militants’ attack on their camp in Uri sector.
There have since been repeated outbreaks of cross-border firing, with both sides reporting deaths and injuries including of civilians.-Online
