ISLAMABAD, March 20: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan has said that Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif should shun his powers being Prime Minister of the country till the decision of the Panama case.
Imran Khan said that Sharif family admitted that they have properties in London but they did not appear for money trial, saying that if Qatari letter also comes out fake then it can be taken up under charges of false evidence.
He said that Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) is adopting strange manners because of being puzzled; saying that staging final of PSL in Lahore is one of its examples. He said that he understands cricket and therefore, he knows the drama.
Imran Khan said that this gave a wrong message to the world that law and order situation in Pakistan is so bad that every thing was closed for the security. Imran Khan was expressing these views while talking in a private TV channel programme. He said that PTI first took step for the judiciary then came out against rigging and now PTI will not keep on waiting against the ban on media, saying that PTI cannot go up without social media.
Imran khan, while talking about the merging of Fata in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, said that it will be quite difficult but there is no other option except merging it in the province.
He said that PTI is ready to accept two things of the government namely; merging of Fata and establishment of local government in the Fata, saying that PTI does not agree to the proposal of governor and under him the existence of councilors. He said that there is not even name of chief minister in it.
While talking about the reason of his coming in politics, Imran Khan said that increasing corruption in politics of the country compelled him to come in politics, saying that he was already student of international politics and he did what he could against corruption while remaining in the limits of constitution.
Imran Khan said that corrupt people involved in the corruption of billion of rupees cannot be caught but jails are filled with the people involved in the theft of thousands and they should also be released.
Imran Khan has accused Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) of spreading sectarianism.
Imran Khan said that JUI-F is spreading sectarianism in Bannu.
The PTI Chairman tweeted, “JUI-F in Bannu promoting disrespect and hatred among different sects and religions.”
He demanded Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Pervaiz Khattak to take effective measures to stop sectarianism from spreading in the province.-Sabah/DNA
