ISLAMABAD, April 8: A high-level 5-member delegation from the Republic of Tajikistan is now-a-days on a visit to Pakistan’s Federal Capital, Islamabad. The delegation is headed by Hakim Abdulohi Rahnamo- Head of the Department on Analysis and Foreign Policy Perspectives (Vision) of the Center for Strategic Research under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan. While other members are Abdurahmonov Marufjon- Additional Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan, Kurbonov Abdurahmon Sherovich, Head of the Department on Social Sciences Problem Studies of the Center for Strategic Research under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Mirsaidov Abror, Deputy Director of the Institute of Economics and Demography of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tajikistan, Akbarov Akramhoja, Media Executive from National Information Agency of Tajikistan ‘Khovar’ under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan
The delegation was warmly received as it arrived in Islamabad. After its arrival, the delegation is busy in holding frequent meetings with Government and other personalities of Pakistan. Editor-in-Chief of National Herald Tribune and Al-Akhbar and Senior Adviser of Centre for Global Strategic Studies (CGSS) has given a lunch on behalf of CGSS in Islamabad on Sunday in honour of the delegation. His Excellency Sherali Jononov, the Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan in return has given a dinner in honour of the members of Centre for Global Strategic Studies, in which high-level officials of the organization also participated. On this occasion, CGSS participants and Tajik delegation discussed to promote bilateral cooperation between the two countries in different fields.
