ISLAMABAD, April 8: A formal protest after a deadly road crash involving a US Embassy vehicle.
According to a statement, the Foreign Ministry said that “justice will take its course” in accordance with local and international laws.
It said Hale expressed his sympathy and sadness over the loss of life and assured cooperation in the investigation.
A youth was killed and two others sustained injuries when the United States military attache’s car collided with a motorcycle in the federal capital on Saturday.
As per details, the bodies and injured people were rushed to hospital for medico-legal formalities and medical assistance.
US Military Attache Mr Joseph was driving the car when the ill-fated incident took place.
The diplomat was released by police after brief detention.
Meanwhile, funeral prayer of deceased Attique has been offered in the native village whereas family of the victim has demanded justice from Army Chief Qamar Bajwa.
The governments of Pakistan and Afghanistan have drawn a new place plan, Dr Faisal said days after Kabul accused the Pakistani military of carrying out a rare air strike on its side of the border. “The Afghanistan-Pakistan Action Plan for Peace and Solidarity was reached during recent visit of Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi to Kabul,” the spokesperson said in a statement.
“Both countries will undertake effective actions against fugitives and
the irreconcilable elements posing security threats to either of the two countries.”
Under the new peace plan, the two sides agreed to avoid “public blame game” and would instead respond to mutual issues of contention and concerns.
“A joint supervision, coordination and confirmation mechanism will be put in place through Liaison Officers (LOs) for realisation of the agreed actions,” the statement said.

Responding to a question, the Spokesperson of the Foreign Office categorically rejected callous and heartless attempts of certain sections of the Afghan media to exploit the tragic bombing at Kunduz seminary to cast baseless aspersions and insinuations against Pakistan.
He said this attempt is made by the segments that do not want good relations between Pakistan and Afghanistan.
He said that Pakistan having suffered the trauma of similar tragedies, understands and shares the grief of the bereaved families and our Afghan brethren over the loss of precious lives in Kunduz.
Referring to ongoing positive engagements with the Afghan Government he said, Pakistan is committed to do all it can in support of the brave Afghan nation and its security forces in the quest for lasting peace and stability. – PR
