By allowing the NAB to proceed for the Reference against Dr Hussain, the court asked the NAB prosecutor to explain as why the authority made delay in forming the reference and if the authority does not have evidences to prove the accused as guilty then why the accused is uner custody.
The NAB prosecutor apprised the NAB court that the authority has so far completed investigation in five cases against the accused. The authority still has few days left in crossing the deadline for filing the Reference against the accused.
The NAB court by considering the NAB’s stance sent the accused to jail on judicial remand and adjourned the hearing until March 5. -DNA
