ISLAMABAD, December 26: Uzbekistan Ambassador to Pakistan His Excellency Furqat Sidiqov has expressed his deep gratitude to each and every member of the Pakistani delegation headed to Tashkent to execute the role of International Observers in recently held Parliamentary elections in his country. In a statement the Ambassador said that their active role as Monitor will surely lead to further democratization of the Republic in the days to come.
He added that all the members discharged their responsibility as Observers with full vigour, dedication and sincerity by visiting multiple Polling Stations in different cities and reported the first hand eye witness accounts with full liberty and therein termed the entire exercise as free , fair and transparent.
On their part, the Observers themselves in their individual messages described the task a unique experience to observe the orderliness, discipline and professionalism of the Election Commission of Uzbekistan with regard to the conduct of peaceful elections. They also eulogized the hospitality of the people of Uzbekistan.
