Abdullah Abdullah has once again lost the presidential election in Afghanistan. He had lost it to Karzai also as well as to Ashraf Ghani and that is why he is billed as a confirmed loser. He is in the habit of accusing the winning candidate of gerrymandering every time he is beaten at the hustings. He , nonetheless, never goes to the point of no return and when he is offered a prized job in the government he hits it off with the President. He was on good terms with Karzai when he was president of Afghanistan and also extended his hand of friendship to Ashraf Ghani too during his first stint as president of Afghanistan. Odds are that by the time these lines see the light of day he will have mended fences with him too though at the moment he is at daggers drawn with him. Their American paymasters know how to handle these two johnnies.
As far as Pakistan is concernced there isn’t much difference in the Outlook of Abdullah Abdullah as well as Karzai and Ashraf Ghani towards it. All of them have a soft corner for New Delhi which bankrolls them. They have never lost any opportunity to malign Pakistan by mudslinging on it. On the one hand they say that terrorists from Pakistan come to Afghanistan for carrying out terrorism but when Pakistan starts fencing Pak_Afghan border they create bottleneck in its way. Instead of utilising services of Pak Army for training of the newly raised Afghan National Army they preferred the Indian Army which trained the ANA which speaks volumes for their close ties with the Indians. The Afghan rulers have allowed a number of Indian Consulates on their soil and the Indian diplomats posted in them are masterminding anti_Pakistan activities while sitting in various parts of Afghanistan.
