Nawaz League is in a political disarray after Mian brothers shifted to London apparently for medical treatment. If they overstayed there any more, Chances are that their party might suffer damage beyond repairs. Already many parliamentarians of Nawaz League have started showing their concern over their absence from the country for a long time thus leaving them in the lurch.
There are many Nawaz Leaguers who give allowance to Nawaz Sharif for going abroad for medical treatment but they are not in favour of giving any allowance on this score to his younger brother saying that he, atleast, should not have gone to London during the present days when they are in a crisis. As far as look after of Nawaz Sharif in London is concernced, his sons are already there to take care of him, therefore, there was no need of Shahbaz Sharif shifting to London.
Since Sharif family had once shifted to Saudi Arabia in mysterious circumstances, tongues have been wagging, lately, that Nawaz Sharif might well have maneuvered his release from prison this time also.
POSTSCRIPT: Soon after the peace accord between the Taliban and the Americans was signed, Ashraf Ghani had stated that he won’t release 5000 Taliban lodged in Afghanistan’s jails in accordance with the above mentioned peace accord but when he was told by his well wishers that he won’t be able to survive for a single minute if he created any bottleneck in the peace accord, he didn’t take a minute to agree on the release of arrested Taliban. The Taliban have nominated mullah Haibutullah from their side as legal head of Afghanistan. It is yet to be seen how he manages to work with two parallel governments one headed by Ashraf Ghani and the other by Abdullah Abdullah. The fact, however, remains that the Taliban have defeated the mightiest country of the world and proved their leader late Mullah Omar right who had said a couple of years back that while the Americans might have more wrist watches on their hands, than Taliban but the Taliban have a lot of time in their hands to free their country from the foreign aggressors.
