LAHORE, March 13: An accountability court judge Lahore Chaudhry Ameer Muhammad Khan on Friday gave 12-day physical remand of Jang and Geo Media Group’s Editor-in-Chief, Mir Shakilur Rahman, to the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) in a land scandal – involving 54 plots – in Johar Town, Lahore. Mir Shakilur Rahman, owner of the Jang and Geo group, was arrested by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) on Thursday after he failed to satisfy the investigation team on a 26-pointer questioner over ‘illegally’ obtaining 54 plots from former prime minister Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif when he was the Punjab chief minister in 1986. -Agencies
