RAHIM YAR KHAN, March 4: An exhibition of flowers and works of art was organized at Khwaja Fareed University of Engineering and Information Technology. In the exhibition, students from different departments planted piles of colorful and fragrant flowering plants. In the Fine Arts Department, young artists added four moons to the beauty of the department by scattering colors. In the Fine Arts Department, young artists increased the beauty of the department by scattering colors. The colorful celebrations were organized by the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences while Secretary HED South Punjab Dr. Ehtesham-ul-Haq, Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Muhammad Suleman Tahir, former Minister Zafar Warraich and PTI leader Ms. Saima Tariq inaugurated the event. During this time they took keen interest in the arts and appreciated the efforts of the students. The Vice Chancellor said that for the betterment of the creative abilities of the students ,we are providing not only suitable environment but also encouraging by exhibiting their work. Secretary HED South Punjab Dr. Ehtesham-ul-Haq said that the youth of South Punjab have full potential. He said that the artwork of the students is a reflection of their strong thinking. Later, the Vice Chancellor along with the distinguished guests arrived at the flower show where the students greeted them with flowers. During this time the students gave details about the types of flowers to the participants. Secretary HED, Zafar Warraich and Saima Tariq appreciated the arrangements and beauty of the flower show. The Vice Chancellor said that the university is moving ahead with the Green and Clean campaign in full swing and Prime Minister Imran Khan’s vision is being put into practice. He said that more than 50,000 trees have been planted in the university during the last two years. Improving the performance of the Horticulture Department, the university has been given the shape of a garden where fragrant flowering plants are captivating the heart. Additional Registrar Dr. Saghir, Dr. Adnan Bajwa, Dr. Bilal Tahir, Dr. Rana Mujahid, Dr. Samina Sarwat, Dr. Nadeem Salamat, Dr. Farhan Chughtai, Dr. Yasir Niaz, Dr. Aslam Khan, Dr. Jallat Khan and other Heads of Departments were present on the occasion. A large number of faculty members and students were also present.-PR
