First IT Park Will Open in Dushanbe This September

This September, an IT park will open in Dushanbe, which will become the first technopark in Tajikistan, a zone of opportunities and integration of science, education and high technology. This was stated by the Director of the Smart City Sady Samadzod today during a press conference.
Samadzod said that the IT Park is a place where active and talented people turn their ideas into real projects due to the availability of modern technical infrastructure, financial and scientific support. According to him, the main goal is to promote the rapid development of the IT industry in the country.
“This is the creation of favorable conditions for the development and production of competitive products and services in the field of information technology, their promotion in the domestic and foreign markets, stimulation of innovative developments, provision of residents with the necessary infrastructure, including laboratories, providing them with financial, marketing, legal consulting services, and also services within the framework of acceleration programs, contributing to the integration of the activities of scientific, educational and industrial organizations to ensure the continuity of the production chain, training the population and youth, formation of a modern class of highly qualified specialists, conducting advanced training courses, as well as scientific and practical conferences and seminars with the involvement of companies and advanced specialists,” added Samadzod.
