ISLAMABAD, August 4: Pakistan has clarified again that its airspace was not used for the drone attack in Kabul. Pakistan Foreign Office strongly refuted the rumours claiming that the country’s airspace was used by a US drone to kill al-Qaeda top leader Ayman al-Zawahiri in Kabul on August 2, 2022. On the other hand, some sections of American media aired that the drone plane flew from northern Kyrgyzstan, where a former base of the American army still existed. -NNI
