President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov handed over new special equipment to the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the country. The Ministry of Emergency Situations received an Airbus H-125 helicopter, buses, tracked and wheeled excavators, front and fork loaders, SUVs, 150 mobile homes, etc. In his speech, the head of state noted that today’s world is a witness to the fact that over time the environment is undergoing significant changes. The number of natural disasters and emergencies on earth has increased, and their scale has expanded.
“Global conditions, extreme climate change are causing unexpected natural and man-made disasters. All this requires us to increase and improve our efforts to prevent natural disasters and other possible risks, and eliminate their consequences.
The situation is even more complicated due to the danger of fires, floods, landslides, traffic accidents, chemical, engineering, medical and other dangerous situations that do not exclude the sad cases of loss of life.
Providing our rescuers with modern equipment shows the power of the state, increases people’s confidence in the authorities, satisfies the needs of citizens who are waiting for rescue services in various accidents, lives are saved. We are very well aware of this situation and are working on it,” Sadyr Zhaparov said.
He recalled that a year ago, rescuers were provided with modern fire engines and special engineering heavy equipment.
“The activity to provide the appropriate equipment does not stop there, we will continue to work in this direction,” the president emphasized.
President Sadyr Zhaparov wished that there would never be disasters in the country, and engineering and special equipment would be used for the benefit of citizens.
The head of state inspected the hangar and the administrative building of the airfield of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, equipment and prefabricated mobile homes. Also, the flight capabilities of the Airbus H-125 multi-purpose helicopter were demonstrated to President Sadyr Zhaparov and the participants of the event.
