KARACHI, August 16: Former president Asif Ali Zardari on Tuesday expressed concern over the rise in the prices of petroleum products by the government.
“The Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) is part of the government and supports it, but there must be consultation on such decisions,” he pointed out. “We are all here in this government to give relief to the people, and that should be our top priority,” he added. “I am with the prime minister. I will meet him soon, and there will be a discussion about the economic team too,” he declared.
Asif Ali Zardari also expressed grief over the death of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Senator Kazim Khan’s brother Muhammad Raza. He extended condolences to the family of Senator Kazim Khan. He also prayed for the forgiveness of Muhammad Raza Khan and the elevation of his ranks in the Hereafter. -DNA
