Pakistan all-rounder Shadab Khan is one of the 12 players to have been selected for the platinum overseas draft.
The platinum players, who will be paid $233,853, include Faf du Plessis, Jason Roy, Liam Livingstone, Sam Billings, Kieron Pollard, Andre Russell, David Willey, Dwayne Bravo, Rashid Khan, Chris Jordan, Trent Boult, and Pakistan’s Shadab Khan.
These aforementioned players will be paid the full amount irrespective of the number of games they play in the next edition of BBL.
From the 12 players, the following players are available for retention by the franchises they represented last season:

Sam Billings
Andre Russell
Shadab Khan
Rashid Khan

It is also worth pointing out that out of the 12 players, only Shadab Khan and David Willey are yet to agree to participate in the South Africa league or ILT20 for the UAE. Inclusion in that tournament would imply that the players will leave BBL sooner than others.
Shadab is one of many Pakistan players who will be included in the BBL. The complete list is as follows:
Bilal Khan, Tayyab Abbas, Asif Afridi, Sarfaraz Ahmed, Sohail Akhtar, Kamran Akmal, Umar Akmal, Faisal Akram, Asif Ali, Mohammad Amir, Shahnawaz Dahani, Salman Fayyaz, Zafar Gohar, Muhammad Hafeez, Mohammad Haris, Dilbar Hussain, Muhammad Imran Jnr, Salman Irshad, Usman Khalid, Azam Khan, Junaid Khan, Maaz Khan, Musa Khan, Shadab Khan, Sharjeel Khan, Ahmad Daniyal Latif. – MD
