On the directions of PM and Ministry of energy (power division), orders for relief in FPA have been issued for IESCO customers: IESCO Chief

ISLAMABAD, August 25: In the light of the instructions of the Government of Pakistan and the Ministry of Energy (Power Division), orders have been issued by the IESCO management to all field offices to provide relief to IESCO customers in terms of fuel price adjustment. According to the details, those consumers with domestic tariff (single phase) whose units used every month for the last 6 months are 200 or less than 200 have been given a relief ofRs. 6 rupees per units in the fuel price adjustment in the bill of August 2022. Apart from this, those consumers with domestic tariff (single phase) who have used more than 200 units in any one month for the last 6 months but have used 200 units or less in the month of June will be given full relief in terms of fuel price adjustment in electricity bill of August 2022. All private agricultural consumers have also been given relief under FPA in the electricity bill of August 2022. IESCO Chief Dr. Muhammad Amjad Khan has said that consumers who meet the above conditions can corrected their electricity bills from the concerned SDO/Revenue Office or Customer Services Center of IESCO. If consumer have already been paid their bills of electricity for the month of August 2022, paid fuel price amount will be creditin the electricity bills for the month of September 2022.-PR
