BLSO appeals from donors to help flood hit people

ISLAMABAD, August 30: The flood situation due to recent monsoon rains has wreaked havoc across the country. Especially in the southern districts of Baluchistan, Sindh, South Punjab and KPK, cities and district hit badly and dozens of villages in Dera Ismail Khan chitral and Tank were wiped out as if there were no human settlements there.
Biyar Local Support Organization hasappealed to donor agencies to provide immediate relief and help the community in rehabilitating the damaged houses and infrastructure in Flood hits area. According to the initial assessment of BLSO people in most of the area have become homeless. Number of houses are partially damaged in different villages,
Reshun, BoniParwakAwiKhuz, Brep, Puwar, MastujLaspoor are the most affected and people there living in open sky due the flood and rains which continued for several days .
Urgent need of food items, tents/shelter, urgent, NFIs including water filter kits Installation of latrines, clothes (women and children)Kitchen utensils and stove/Blankets.-PR
