Nawaz Sharif to visit Karachi today

ISLAMABAD , April 10: Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif will reach Karachi tomorrow on a one-day visit.
He will be welcomed by Governor Sindh Dr Ishratul Ebad Khan and Chief Minister (CM) Sindh Qaim Ali Shah at Masroor base.
The premier will hold meeting with both of them and will discuss law and order situation and ongoing operation in the metropolis.
PM Nawaz will also attend Pakistan Air Force (PAF) ceremony and will later depart for Thar to lay foundation stone of two power plants of 660 megawatt. Divisional Commission Mirpur Khas, Shafiq Ahmed Mehasar has said the power plants have been installed at Thar Coal Block-II at 100 acre land near Butra village. On the other hand, 15,000 megawatt electricity will be generated from Thar coal till 2025 and in this regard the work on Thar coal has been accelerated with the support of federal government- Online/Agencies
