downloadISLAMABAD, April 11: Senator Aitzaz Ahsan, Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader, Monday said that the Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar is pushing Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif into trouble over the matter of Panama Papers. “Chaudhry Nisar has himself admitted that the prime minister owns a flat in Mayfair,” Aitzaz said while exclusively talking to a private television channel.
Responding to Chaudhry Nisar’s criticism on him, senator Aitzaz said had the Panama Papers revealed the interior ministry’s offshore holdings, he would have definitely talked about it in the Parliament. “The same Panama Papers revealed that PPP senators have 34 offshore companies”, Nisar said, asking the opposition party to also present themselves for the probe. -DNA
