LAHORE (Web Desk) – Indian President Pranab Mukherjee has conferred Padma Bhushan, India s third highest civil award on tennis star, Sania Mirza among others, Dunya News reported Tuesday.
A total of 56 notable persons have been given Padma awards today.
Mirza was awarded Padma Shri in 2006.
Earlier last night, Mirza was honoured at the NRI of the Year Award 2016 where she was conferred with the Global Indian Icon of the year award.
Quantico star, Priyanka Chopra was among different people who have been awarded Padma Shri.
