LHC issues notices to NAB & federal govt over Panama leaks issue

LAHORE, April 12: The Lahore High Court has issued notices to the federal government and National Accountability Bureau on a plea filed over Panama Papers leaks allegations against Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif’s family. The petitioner has said that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif had hidden the assets of his children in the nomination papers for election. According to the plea, PM Nawaz Sharif had misled in the nomination papers, therefore, the court orders NAB to take action against him. The court admitted the petition and issued notices to the federal government and the NAB.-Sabah
