Pakistan & Bahrain discuss trade ties

MANAMA, April 15: Pakistani Ambassador to Bahrain, Javed Malik and Crown Prince of the Kingdom of Bahrain Prince Salman Bin Hamad Al Khalifa have discussed business, trade and commercial relations between the two countries.
Javed Malik briefed the Crown Prince on various steps being taken by the government to ensure stability and create opportunities for foreign investment in Pakistan. Ambassador Javed Malik highlighted the opportunities of further expanding the business, trade and commercial relations between Pakistan and Bahrain.
He also proposed the idea of establishing Pakistan-Bahrain Business Council aimed at creating a platform to promote cooperation between business communities from both sides, and work towards expanding our economic tries.
While welcoming Ambassador Javed Malik, Prince Salman paid tribute to the strong and friendly relations between both countries and stressed the importance further deepening ties with Pakistan, which he said were firmly grounded in strong cooperation across all strategic sectors. The Crown Prince welcomed the idea and assured Ambassador Javed Malik of his support.-SABAH
