334468_54040582FAISALABAD: Punjab beat Sindh chasing required targte of 159 runs wuth a loss of 5 wickets on Friday, reported Dunya News.
Ehsan Adil and Zulfiqar Babar were sublime with the ball for Punjab as both bowlers picked 3 wickets each. Fawad Alam tried to give some strength to Sindh s innings but he was dismissed after playing a knock of 62 runs off 99 balls. Only 4 batsmen of Sindh s lineup were able to make it into the double figures. Sindh was bowled out for a total of 158 runs with 3.3 overs to spare. Yamin and Bhatti picked 2 wickets each for Punjab.
On the other hand, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) team which was hit by a crisis has reached the final.
KP’s coach Kabir Khan announced to quit coaching if Younis Khan rejoined Pakistan Cup. The coach had said that the KP batsman misbehaved during team meeting which was unacceptable.
The coach said that Khan refused to accept him as his coach and disrespected him during a meeting. He also expressed reservations over not launching stern action against the player.
The coach further said that he would have no issue if Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) gives a clean chit to the player in the matter. – Agencies
