727384-NawazSharifAFP-1403784648-653-640x480ISLAMABAD, May 10: Minister for Information, Broadcasting and National Heritage, Senator Pervaiz Rashid on Tuesday assured the opposition that the Prime Minister would come to the House on Friday and answer all questions raised by them regarding Panama leaks.
Responding to the Opposition Leader’s observations in the National Assembly, the Minister said the Prime Minister was holding the office for the third time and he always feels pleasure to attend sessions of the National Assembly.
He said the government had started the process for constituting commission on demand of the opposition and was considering to prepare joint Terms Of References (TORs) in consultation with the opposition. The minister said the Prime Minister wanted to present himself before the commission but now the opposition had come with a new demand and asking the Leader of the House to come to the parliament and reply to their questions.
He said Leader of the Opposition in the House had tried to make the environment pleasant which was a positive sign. Pervaiz Rashid assured the opposition that the Prime Minister would come to the House on Friday to answer their questions and asked the opposition to end the boycott. However, Leader of the Opposition, Khursheed Shah said that the opposition would also come to the House on Friday if the Prime Minister would attend the session. Earlier, the opposition boycotted the National Assembly Session and demanded the Prime Minister to come to the House and reply the questions regarding Panama leaks. -DNA
