The Parliamentary Opposition in an ‘Alliance Mode’ has asked the Prime Minister to come and tell the Parliament whether his children have ever held any stakes in the Sharif family’s industrial/business units, and if so, had filed their tax returns.
This is infact one of the seven questions that the Opposition has framed to be put forth to the Prime Minister so that he can vindicate himself by answering them truthfully and convincingly.
The man who is leading the Opposition’s quest for truth regarding the ownership of the three apartments in London’s Mayfair locality is Chaudhry Aitzaz Ahsan who arguably is among the country’s best legal brains.
The seven questions seemingly are so harmless and innocent that if Mian Nawaz Sharif is even half as clean as he claims to be, he will be able to cause huge embarrassment in the ranks of the opposition by stating facts as they are.
But quite clearly the Prime Minister has a great deal of TRUTH to hide. Precisely why he is continuously sending a trio of jokers to the Media, to state some of the most laughable explanations of the dilemma Prime Minister’s family is facing. But quite unfortunately the whole issue of the Panama Leaks is much more than a joke. There are serious explanations to be given regarding the contradictory statements made by Hussain Nawaz, Hassan Nawaz, Maryam Nawaz, Kalsum Nawaz and Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan.
They have all talked about the same bird. One has said the bird was green, the other it was blue, the third it was red, the fourth it was black, and the fifth it was yellow.
And the bird belonged to Mian Nawaz Sharif. He obviously knows the truth.
The Nation wants him to disclose, of which colour, the bird was (and is).
The more the Prime Minister will bank upon the jokers of his team for satisfying the people, the more tarnished his image will get in the public esteem.
The Panama Leaks have come as God’s Sword of Justice.
