PESHAWAR, May 25: The Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Pervez Khattak has said that rule of law, transformation of the institutions and promotion of favourable working environment was top priority of the provincial government to provide justice and better services to the masses. He expressed these views while talking to a representative delegation of officers of the Provincial Management Service who called on him at the Chief Minister House Peshawar on Wednesday.
Provincial Management Services officers paid thanks to the Chief Minister Pervez Khattak for his assurance to resolve their grievances. They appreciated the efficient role the committee, constituted by the Chief Minister for sorting out solution to their problem and expressed full confidence in the government.
The Chief Minister Pervez Khattak termed the dedicated officers as an asset of the province. He instructed the relevant committee to solve all the problems of the PMS Officers on priority bases. He said that provision of due rights of the people would not be compromised upon. He said that it was responsibility of the committee, comprising provincial ministers and headed by the Senior Minister Sikander Hayat Khan Sherpao to ensure solution to the problems faced by the PMS officers. The CM ordered to submit a report consisting decisions made amicably by the PMS officers and members of the committee to implement it to resolve problems of the officers. The Chief Minister said that his government was not a traditional one as it had came into power under an agenda for change. He said that the rule of law, stability of the institutions and provision of services without any discriminate to the masses was priority of the government. “The government will never compromise in this regard”, he maintained. The present government would not let an injustice with anyone, he added. He denoted that the government had eliminated political interference in the affairs of institutions. -PR
