Famous TV serial ‘Game of Thrones’ presents amazingly impressive depiction of power rift in upper and lower tiers of hierarchy. Cold blooded and ruthless execution of power and wisdom. Peter Dinklage has performed the role of my favorite character ‘Tyrian Lannister’ and his one dialogue truly expresses the irony across the history “The powerful have always preyed on the powerless. That’s how they become powerful the first place.” History of mankind is a witness to this bitter phrase. Humans witnessed the inhumanity of own specie touching the vertex. World War I&II are too destructive to forget. Rapid evolution in warfare has added infinite destructiveness. Men now eat well, dress well, read well and kill well. Rather after killing the countless numbers, now killers extend the highest possible condolence. Who can forget the Hiroshima’ nuclear massacre served by the arrogant America. Now decades after Barrack Obama, the mighty president and chief guardian of humanity, sprinkled sweet cold sentiments over the ashes of Hiroshima. As compared to the past, today men kill men precisely, swiftly, indiscriminately and then console with humility. Offer humble wishes to the grieved generations of the killed ones. George Friedman very rightly commented that USA is unmatchable in power, both economically and militarily. This power gives birth to arrogance which forces America to act according to her mood swings having no fear of rationale or accountability. American arrogance delivered liberty and democracy to Iraq through dreadful military attacks coupled with aerial bombing. Result came in the shape of ISIS but who can ask the arrogant power until Obama admitted himself about the disaster. Russian invasion and subsequent American sponsored resistance in Afghanistan sucked the regional peace and vicioiusly engaged Pakistan too. Hot cake of JIHAD was sold under American banner but now it is forbidden and tagged as terrorism thus reversed the trend in market. Arrogance demands courteous silence upon questionable acts. So courteous statesmen never put embarrassing questions to the great arrogant executioners. Imagine what would it might cost if someone asks the chief guardian of world peace that why the efficient drone was on a stand by mode once TTA chief was mounting wrathful raids in Afghanistan. He went to Iran through Pakistan and subsequently met the fate on way back in Noshki. Why not any where else? His presence in Noshki is a ‘double Game’ but what title should we choose for TTA’s active presence in Afghanistan? Mullah Mansoor was on UN NO FLY List but kept travelling to ME then why he remained undetected by the most resourceful and efficient Intelligence outfit of the world. It is difficult to digest that all of a sudden Saddam Hussain was arrested from a basement in Iraq. Same is the feeler about targeting of Akhtar Mansoor. Pakistan was expected to engage TTA for dialogues, so Mullah Mansoor’s presence may not sound as deceitful as was his targeting by a US drone. There should be a new meaning in dictionary for ‘dialogue Table’ when uttered by USA. ‘Dialogue table’ means the death by drone. The opponent party will soon meet the drone of his fate and end up at morgue table. Statesmen of the powerless lands can not ask these questions from the most powerful executioners because a consoling visit of American President to future generations is not a suitable option once we present lot will be graded as the Preys of Arrogance. This reminds me another eye catching dialogue from Game of Thrones, “People work together when it suits them. They are loyal when it suits them. They love each other when it suits them and They kill each other when it suits them.” So is the case with America which exercises arrogance when and where it suits her.
